Development (OECD)Investment Director Declan Murphy said in Sofia on Tuesday.
ZAGREB/SOFIA, Nov 2 (Hina) - Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia are
progressing faster in terms of the economy than other countries in Southeast
Europe, although plenty of work still awaits them, Organisation for European
Cooperation and Development (OECD) Investment Director Declan Murphy said in
Sofia on Tuesday.Addressing a regional economic forum, Murphy said direct foreign
investment in the Balkans should be tripled in order to reach the level of
investment in Central Europe.
Speaking of the tasks awaiting Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia, Murphy
said they referred to the adoption of appropriate legislation, the registration
of companies, the purchase of land, and investment negotiations.
