The president of the Croatian Chamber of the Economy, Nadan Vidosevic , said economic cooperation between Bavaria and Croatia was very good and added that he saw partners for the future in Bavarian business people.
Bavarian state minister for the economy, infrastructure, transport and technology Otto Wiesheu said this German state was interested in cooperation in infrastructure projects, such as roads and railways, and the northern Adriatic port of Rijeka.
After a plenary part of the business forum, representatives of some 30 companies from Bavaria and Croatia met for talks.
Croatia-Bavaria trade in 2003 amounted to EUR494 million, according to the Bavarian state bureau of statistics. Of this amount, EUR160 million was Croatia's exports, while imports from Bavaria totalled EUR334 million.
