Josip Stipanov by Japanese Ambassador KanameIkeda on Thursday.
ZAGREB, Oct 6 (Hina) - The Japanese government has donated
audiovisual equipment to the National and University Library (NSK) in Zagreb.
The equipment, worth 2 million kuna (approximately 266,000 euros), will be
presented to NSK Director Josip Stipanov by Japanese Ambassador Kaname Ikeda on
Thursday.The donation includes amplifiers, cassette players, speakers, CDs, DVDs,
video recorders, plasma and LCD monitors, mixers, record players and
microphones, the Japanese Embassy said in a press release on Wednesday.
Since 1997, the Japanese government has donated 242 million yen in the
form of donations to Croatian cultural institutions.
