On Tuesday, only the Ljubljana-based 'Dnevnik' was published. Reporters working for this daily expressed their solidarity with the strikers, but they did not go on strike. The financial daily 'Finance' also appeared today.
Journalists on national television and radio, who are on strike, broadcast only necessary reports on weather, road conditions and reasons for their strike.
The trade union of Slovene Journalists (SNS) says the strikers insist on being able to exercise their acquired rights and conclude a separate collective agreement. President Janez Drnovsek will receive the striking committee in the course of the day.
