He said the victims had been tied before they were thrown in the grave, that they were civilians, mostly elderly, wearing winter clothes, and that they might be linked to Croats gone missing in Siroka Kula in October 1991.
Grujic said the investigation of the grave would be completed on Sunday and that he expected the remains of at least two more victims to be exhumed.
Present at the exhumation is a representative of the International Commission for Missing Persons. Croatia is still looking for 1,189 persons.
The remains of 10 persons have been exhumed since September 21 in the Gospic and Lapac areas in Lika-Senj County.
To date five mass graves have been found in this county. The exhumation of the first began in 1995. So far the remains of 62 victims, mostly Croats, have been exhumed. Also exhumed have been the remains of 499 persons, mostly Serbs killed in 1995's Operation Storm, who were buried in Knin, Gracac and Korenica in line with the Geneva Convention.
