Calling on the faithful to be more active in the attitudes towards the man, faith, the Church and God, Bishop Komarica warned during his sermon that Catholic families in Bosnia and Croatia were being exposed to dangers of hedonism, materialism and disdain for God's commands.
In this context the dignitary said that God "is being today banished from laws and constitutions, God is no longer needed in Brussels, and in short time He will not be needed in Zagreb,", alluding to debates about the recently adopted European Union Constitution which some circles believe did not give proper place to Christianity.
