SINJ, Aug 11 (Hina) - Last weekend's annual Sinjska Alka jousting
tournament was held in the spirit of tradition and in line with the
tournament's rules and statute, the Alka Knights Society and the Honorary Alka
Court assessed at Wednesday's closed-door session in Sinj, 30 km north of the
southern coastal city of Split.
In a statement issued after the session, the two bodies extended special
gratitude for his support to the Alka duke, General Mirko Norac, who is serving
a prison sentence for war crimes. "Mirko, hold on, justice will prevail," read
the statement.
