VILNIUS, March 28
(Hina) - During his day-long stay in Vilnius,
Croatian President Ivo Josipovic on Monday held talks with Lithuanian
Parliament Speaker Irena Degutiene and Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius
on bilateral relations and Croatia's efforts to bring its European
Union accession negotiations to completion.
According to sources from Croatia's delegation, President Josipovic requested the Lithuanian officials that their country support Croatia's EU memebrship bid.
The talks also focused on Croatia-Lithuania cooperation in NATO.
Earlier in the day, Josipovic was received by his host, President Dalia Grybauskaite.
