Non-striking workers say they are trying to win better status through work rather than strike which the say undermines the future of this newspaper and the source of their income.
They slam the strikers' call on readers not to buy this daily during their industrial action.
Earlier on Friday, some 200 people gathered for a march of solidarity with the striking journalists of Vecernji List who insist on the preservation of a majority of their acquired rights and benefits.
The Vecernji List strikers, reporters from other media companies and undergraduates from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences marched from the Croatian Journalists' Association's headquarters to the headquarters of Vecernji List, which is published by the Styria Media Group.
Vecernji List reporters commenced their strike on Wednesday in a protest against what they said was the management's attempt to restrict their rights through the cancellation of the existing collective agreement.
