After the talks the two officials issued a joint press release
stressing there were possibilities for cooperation between the two
counties in the economy, culture, science and education. Also
announced was the visit of a degelation of Istria County to Ireland
for May 18-22.
The president of Kerry County said that in his opinion Croatia would
not have difficulties in associating with the European Union.
