ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - Residents of the northern Adriatic town of Pula on Wednesday found leaflets in their mailboxes reading "Reshuffles in Cosa Nostra", signed by the so-called Istrian Terrorist Action (ITA).#L# Unknown authors of the leaflets claim that "Communist thieves from the Social Democratic Party, the Istrian Democratic Assembly, the Croatian Democratic Union, Glas Istre daily and independent city councillor Loredana Stok want to topple Pula mayor Luciano Delbianco" in order to continue selling property in Istria "forgetting that Delbiaco is the least of evils because he is not a thief". The authors of the leaflets call on Delbianco to get rid of "the criminals, mobsters and necrophiliacs" and to surround himself with honest antifascist, anti-globalists and patriots from all independent slates and parties in Istria and lead Istria into the 21st century without Communists". The chief of Istria's Police Department, Marko Petkovic, said police would take all necessary measures to find the authors of the leaflets. Delbianco told Hina he was not informed of the terrorist leaflets and declined comment until he personally saw them. Two days ago Istria's police filed charges against mayor Delbianco and four of his associates suspecting them of having signed a contract with the Brioni haulier company, causing the city damage in the amount of 1.23 billion kuna. The Croatian Democratic Union requested Delbianco's resignation at today's news conference. (Hina) it
