ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy said in Zagreb on Thursday that during his stay in Zagreb he would meet Croatian officials to discuss, among other topics, the case of Bulgarian citizens detained in
Libya.

"Croatia has extremely good relations with Libya, so I won't hesitate
to discuss the matter with Croatian leaders," Passy said after talks
with Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul.
Later today, the Bulgarian officials is scheduled to meet Croatian
President Stjepan Mesic, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and the head of
the Croatian parliament delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly,
Tonino Picula.
Libya's authorities have recently sentenced to death five Bulgarian
nurses and a Palestinian doctor because, as the authorities claim,
they deliberately infected 426 Libya's children with the HIV virus.
Passy, who is also the chairman of the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), said he was impressed with progress
Croatia made. He also hailed the Croatian government's refugees return
programme
The Bulgarian foreign minister strongly supported Croatia's
aspirations to join the European Union and NATO. Bulgaria joined NATO
in early April.
Croatia's Zuzul congratulated Bulgaria on NATO membership.
