on Monday in an interview with a local daily.#L#
Lozancic's statement ensued after frequent media speculations on
Sanader's engagement in efforts to reform the HDZ BiH following the
model of the HDZ in Croatia.
Asked by a reporter of the Vecernji List daily in Sarajevo whether
members from Herzegovina dominated over HDZ BiH and whether most HDZ
officials in Bosnian federal and state bodies came from Herzegovina,
Lozanicic said that there was no domination adding that "this may have
been earlier". The dominance by Herzegovina is reiterated by those who
do not observe changes in the party, he added.
Commenting on the relations between the HDZ parties in Croatia and
Bosnia, the HDZ BiH leader Barisa Colak said last week that he could
not see how Sanader might exert pressure on the party in Bosnia and
remove some officials from the HDZ BiH leadership on what media
speculated. Colak described the relations between the two parties as
very good.
