"We will ask for the Netherlands' full support to our drawing closer
to the EU and NATO because it is one of the founders of both
organisations," Zuzul said at the start of his visit on Thursday,
voicing confidence in the development of good relations between the
two countries.
Zuzul said the fact that the Netherlands had nearly finished the
ratification of Croatia's Stabilisation and Association Agreement with
the European Union "indicates the Netherlands' willingness to make a
new step in the good bilateral relations that were hampered only by
the issue of cooperation with the Hague tribunal".
Yesterday, Zuzul held talks with ICTY Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte
and tribunal president Theodor Meron.
