ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - Newly-elected Slovak president Ivan Gasparovic has expressed support for the continuation of good relations between his country and Croatia and has wished Croatia a lot of success in tourism.
ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - Newly-elected Slovak president Ivan Gasparovic has expressed support for the continuation of good relations between his country and Croatia and has wished Croatia a lot of success in tourism.#L# Gasparovic was speaking at an event in Bratislava on Thursday aimed at promoting Croatian tourism in Slovakia. The event, organised by the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ), was also attended by Slovak Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan, tour operators, reporters and other guests. Several hundred guests were greeted by HTZ director general Niko Bulic, who expressed hope that more Slovaks would visit Croatia this summer. Nearly 190,000 Slovaks visited Croatia last year, or two per cent less than the year before. (Hina) vm
