RIJEKA, April 23 (Hina) - The Minister of Family, War Veterans and Inter-Generation Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, met leaders of county war veterans' associations in Rijeka on Friday, informing them of the completion of a programme for
the employment of war veterans.

completion of a programme for the employment of war veterans.#L#
Kosor said that the programme provided for additional training and
self-employment measures, rehabilitation of about 500 veterans, loans
for small and medium-sized businesses owned by veterans and a system
of cooperatives.
As part of the government system of business incentives, 11 million
kuna will be earmarked for loans, while the Ministry will subsidise
the interest rate of two per cent. About 2 million kuna will also be
earmarked this year for the trial project of a reference centre for
war veterans' cooperatives.
