BELGRADE, April 15 (Hina) - Serbia-Montenegro's Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic resigned from his post on Wednesday.#L# "Several months ago, I promised that I would resign after an agreement on my successor was reached," Svilanovic told Radio B92. Svilanovic took up office after the ouster of Slobodan Milosevic in October 2000. The President of Serbia and Montenegro, Svetozar Marovic, yesterday sent the state parliament a proposal for the election of new members of the Council of Ministers, the country's government, proposing that Prvoslav Davinic, a member of G17 Plus party, be elected defence minister, and that Vuk Draskovic, leader of the Serb Revival Movement, be elected foreign minister. After the last parliamentary elections in Serbia, Draskovic's party joined a coalition which formed a minority government. The Serbia-Montenegro parliament will discuss government reshuffles tomorrow. (Hina) rml
