According to Pristina's daily in Albanian Koha Ditore, Tuesday's
issue, three masked persons wearing the uniforms with ANA symbols
attended the event held in the memory of two late members of the
Kosovo Liberation Army.
The UN Mission in Kosovo and the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) last
year said the Albanian National Army was a terrorist organisation.
Koha Ditore quoted international representatives as saying they had no
information on the appearance of ANA members in the public.
The daily also cited one ANA member as saying that the time had come
for ANA to appear as "political and military force".
"We swear on the graves of national martyrs that we will not stop on
the path to national liberation and unification," the ANA member said.
According to the daily, several hundred persons who attended the event
warmly applauded his words.
