ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) - The Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) will file a request with the Constitutional Court on Wednesday to assess the legality of the decision by parliament to reject a motion by the HSS that the government should be
given 15 days to present its negotiating platform and position on Protocol VII, HSS member of parliament Josip Vresk announced on Tuesday.

request with the Constitutional Court on Wednesday to assess the
legality of the decision by parliament to reject a motion by the HSS
that the government should be given 15 days to present its negotiating
platform and position on Protocol VII, HSS member of parliament Josip
Vresk announced on Tuesday.#L#
HSS leader Zlatko Tomcic said that negotiations on Protocol VII were
shrouded in secrecy and that the position of his party was that they
were in violation of Croatian laws.
"It is evident that the government has been acting against the law,
because if it had been acting in accordance with the law, the Sabor
would have adopted conclusions that would have benefited domestic
agriculture," Tomcic said.
