RIJEKA, April 6 (Hina) - A programme of business training and
establishment of an association of entrepreneurs of the Italian
minority in Rijeka and Istria was presented in the offices of the
Italian Union in Rijeka on Tuesday.#L#
The president of the Italian Union, Maurizio Tremul, said that the
Trieste-based Chamber of the Economy was in charge of the project,
with the Italian Union as its main partner. The project will be
implemented over a period of 16 months and it will be financed with
funds ensured by the Italian government and the Chamber of the Economy
from Trieste, totalling 260,000 euros.
Tremul said the purpose of the project was to encourage all forms of
association and establish institutional cooperation between the
Italian minority in Croatia and the Italian system of entrepreneurship
and economy.
