SARAJEVO, March 26 (Hina) - Representatives of the parties comprising the ruling coalition in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina agreed to continue cooperating, and thus end a crises which lasted for several weeks and which occurred
after the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BH) decided not to take part in the work of the Federation's government.
SARAJEVO, March 26 (Hina) - Representatives of the parties comprising
the ruling coalition in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina agreed to
continue cooperating, and thus end a crises which lasted for several
weeks and which occurred after the Croatian Democratic Union of
Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BH) decided not to take part in the work of
the Federation's government.#L#
According to the local press, during negotiations which ended on
Thursday evening, HDZ BH president Barisa Colak, president of the
Democratic Action Party (SDA) Sulejman Tihic and president of the
Party for Bosnia-Herzegovina (SBiH) Safet Halilovic agreed that all
important decisions within the Federation's government would be
adopted after consultations which would prevent the outvoting of the
minority people.
After negotiations, Tihic said no document was signed, but stressed
that agreement on avoiding the outvoting was reached.
