SANADER SAYS COOPERATION BETWEEN HDZ AND SDSS WOULD NOT BE DISCONTINUES

VIENNA, March 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Prime Minister and the president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Ivo Sanader, said in Vienna on Wednesday there was no need to fear that cooperation between the HDZ and the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) would be discontinued. He added that the government stuck to its programme when it came to the return of refugees and the restitution of property.#L# Sanader is taking part in an assembly of European conservative and democratic-Christian parties in Austria's capital. Answering to a reporter's question regarding criticism of the government made by MP Milorad Pupovac of the SDSS, Sanader said he talked to Pupovac who told him there were certain problems in the implementation of an agreement between the HDZ and the SDSS. "I will meet Pupovac on Thursday to discuss the matter in detail, but it is clear that the agreement must be respected, because this is our policy, it is the programme of the Croatian government, which is why I say that the HDZ and the government stick to its programme when it comes to the return of refugees and the restitution of property," said Sanader, who is taking part in the Study Days of the European People's Party in Vienna.
