ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - The fifth session of the Croatian parliament , at which MPs will debate about 30 items, will start on Tuesday.

The sitting will begin with question time. A total of 35 MPs have
already signed up for the question time.
In the next two weeks, parliament will decide on the final version of
the government's proposal regarding the reduction of the Value Added
Tax rate from the current 22 to 20 percent by the start of next year.
MPs will also voice their opinion in an urgent procedure on amendments
to the Law on the Rights of War Veterans, namely on the proposal to
stop the revision of the status of war invalids.
Also discussed will be a report on audits conducted in 2002 and a
report on the work of the State Audit Office in 2003.
