Last year, 6.1 percent of water samples were not acceptable in the
segment of bacteriological contents, and 7.1 percent were not
acceptable because of their microbiological contents, biologist Slavko
Sobot said at a news conference at the Croatian Public Health
Institute.
In Croatia, outbreaks of epidemics spread by drinking water are
seldom, and their occurrence is declining.
