PRISTINA, March 12 (Hina) - Serbia's authorities on Friday handed over the remains of 45 Kosovo Albanians to local authorities, the UN Mission in Kosovo reported. The hand-over of the corpses was carried out at the crossing of Merdar
on the boundary between Serbia and Kosovo.

The head of the UNMIK office for missing persons, Jose Pablo Baraybar,
told reporters that he was dissatisfied with the pace of the process
of the return of bodies of dead Albanians and voiced hope the
incumbent authorities in Serbia would step up the process.
So far, Belgrade has transferred back 220 Kosovo Albanians killed
during the Slobodan Milosevic regime, Baraybar said.
