OSIJEK, March 12 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Friday relieved Mladen Kovacic of his duties as member of the Croatian Health Insurance Agency (HZZO) Governing Council, appointing Josip Zidanic in his stead.

Kovacic was relieved of duties at his own request following a scandal
which erupted after it was said that he had offered journalists awards
to write affirmatively about the agency's work. In the HZZO Governing
Council he represented insurees.
