ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - The presidency of the Democratic Centre (DC) party issued a statement from a meeting on Monday evening, expressing full support to the party president and justice minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt in her cooperation
with the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague.

The party presidency described as "a factual, legal and political
untruth" the allegation in the indictment against generals Cermak and
Markac that, along with the late president Franjo Tudjman and fugitive
general Ante Gotovina, they had participated in a joint criminal
enterprise aimed at the permanent resettlement of Serbs from Croatia.
The DC presidency demanded that, without change in the cooperation
with the Hague tribunal, all legal and political means be used,
including a debate before the UN Security Council as the founder of
the tribunal, to remove the "untrue and unacceptable" phrase from the
indictment.
