SFOR spokesman Dave Sullivan told reporters that the plane wreck had
not been found nor had the site of the probable crash been
established.
A similar statement was given by Bosnian Serb police spokesman Zoran
Glusac.
The statements of the two officials refuted claims by the spokesman
for the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina Ministry of Interior, Nedzad
Vejzagic, who said that investigators had this morning established the
site of the accident and found the bodies of some of the nine
passengers and crew.
Bosnian Foreign Minister Mladen Ivanic, who was at emergency
headquarters in Stolac, told reporters the plane of the Macedonian
president was considered missing for now.
The search is hampered by low cloud and rain, which prevents SFOR
helicopters from searching the ground.
The probable crash site is located in a former war zone strewn with
mines, which makes any movement very risky.
