ZAGREB, Feb 12 (Hina) - Hido Biscevic, state secretary at the Croatian Foreign Ministry, met in Trieste on Thursday with his colleagues from Italy and Slovenia to discuss the advancing of cooperation between the three Adriatic
countries, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Bisevic and his colleagues, the state secretary at the Slovene Foreign
Ministry, Andrej Logar, and the state under-secretary for foreign
affairs at the Italian Foreign Ministry, Roberto Antonione, discussed
cooperation in the Adriatic in order to find solutions to
environmental protection, sustainable fishing and the management of
maritime resources.
The Trieste meeting marks the start of trilateral talks on cooperation
in the Adriatic. The next meeting between representatives of the three
countries, to be held at the end of February, will be hosted by
Slovenia.
