ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - Mirjana Feric-Vac, Vice-President of the Socialist International of Women and a member of Croatia's Social Democratic Party's (SDP) Main Committee, was elected vice-chairwoman of the newly-established Socialist
International's Committee for South-East Europe, the SDP reported on Monday.
ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - Mirjana Feric-Vac, Vice-President of the
Socialist International of Women and a member of Croatia's Social
Democratic Party's (SDP) Main Committee, was elected vice-chairwoman
of the newly-established Socialist International's Committee for
South-East Europe, the SDP reported on Monday.#L#
Feric Vac was appointed to the new position at a session of the
Council of the Socialist International, held in Madrid on 7-8
February.
The co-chairmen of the newly-established committee are Greek Foreign
Minister Georgios Papandreu (the chief of PASOK) and Romania's Premier
Adrian Nastase.
