ZAGREB, Jan 30(Hina) - Croatia will host the multilateral military exercise "Adriatic Phiblex 04-2 ENGINEEREX" on the Eugen Kvaternik military range near Slunj, 100 km south of Zagreb, from February 15 to June 30, parliament decided
on Friday.

The exercise will engage troops of Croatia and the United States as
well as the countries of the South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) --
Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, and Turkey.
The purpose of the exercise is to train ground troops, to build the
military range's infrastructure, support the Slunj infrastructure, and
build a waterworks in the Slunj area.
The cost of the exercise is estimated at 14 million kuna (EUR1.8
million), which the U.S. would cover with 4.5 million kuna and Croatia
with 9.4 million.
Also today, parliament ratified an agreement between the Croatian and
Turkish governments on military cooperation and an agreement on the
establishment and work of the International Centre for Migration
Policy Development.
Parliament also okayed a plan envisaging the adjustment of Croatian
legislation to European Union standards which foresees the adoption of
some 40 laws.
