ZAGREB, Jan 27(Hina) - Great Britain will ratify the Stabilisation and
Association Agreement (SAA) between Croatia and the EU only when there
are no more objections to Croatia's cooperation with the UN war crimes
tribunal in The Hague, British Minister for Europe Dennis McShane told
Voice of America on Tuesday.#L#
Everything is in the hands of the Croatian government, it must solve
problems in relations with the tribunal and only when it achieves
full cooperation and the tribunal confirms it, will the SAA be
ratified, McShane said.
The British minister also expressed disbelief with the fact that
runaway general Ante Gotovina, indicted by the tribunal, was holding
the entire country hostage.
Positively assessing the first steps of the new government, McShane
announced that he would visit Zagreb soon.
