Speaking to reporters after an official visit to France, he said
France was willing to support and help Macedonia on that road.
Commenting on suggestions by some EU countries and senior officials
that it was too early for a membership application, Crvenkovski said a
united stand could not be expected at the moment but that the mood was
generally positive.
According to the deputy prime minister in charge of European
integration, Radmila Sekerinska, one fact speaking in favour of
applying is that all EU nations have ratified the Stabilisation and
Association Agreement Macedonia signed with the EU in early 2001.
