Blair says in the letter Croatia has made significant headway in the
implementation of key reforms, which has paved the way for European
integration and brought the start of negotiations on EU and NATO
membership closer.
Great Britain strongly supports Croatia on the road to the European
Union and NATO, Blair says, adding that he knows the government's main
goal is to enter the two institutions and that it is aware of the
importance of cooperation with the war crimes tribunal in The Hague,
the return of refugees, minorities' rights, and of the judicial
reform.
By making additional efforts, Croatia will not miss the historical
moment of joining the EU and NATO, he said and wished Sanader a lot of
success in heading the government.
