ZAGREB, Jan 22(Hina) - The government on Thursday relieved Stefanija Bortek Knesaurek and Marijan Krizic of duties they held in the ministry of inter-generation solidarity and family and war veterans' affairs as an investigation was
launched against them on suspicion that they committed financial wrongdoing when they used to be at the helm of the state-run institute for the protection of family, motherhood and young people.

Minister Jadranka Kosor has recently appointed Bortek Knesaurek as her
assistant for family affairs and Krizic as state secretary in her
ministry.
