ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - A little over 3.1 million kuna (402,600 euros) is to be set aside in the national budget for parliamentary parties and minority deputies in this year's first quarter, parliament's Committee for the
Constitution, Rule Book and Political System decided on Tuesday.

The funds have been allocated in proportion to the number of MPs each
party has. Ethnic minorities with at least one deputy have been given
the money too.
The amount of 20,103 kuna has been earmarked per male MP and 22,113
kuna per female MP since there are fewer of them.
As the two largest parties, the Croatian Democratic Union and the
Social Democratic Party have been given the highest amounts -- 1.4
million and 707,622 kuna respectively.
