ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday received US Ambassador Ralph Frank with whom he discussed international and bilateral relations, the President's Office said in a statement.

The regular working meeting tackled a number of questions regarding
international relations, as well as the improvement of bilateral
relations.
Ambassador Frank said the United States strongly supported Croatia's
wish to join NATO and European associations, and particularly
President Mesic's and the government's initiatives in international
relations, the statement said.
