Before the second call was made, editor Zvonimir Perusic called the
police, after which five policemen arrived at the office. After taking
the editor's statement, they said they would see that the person who
made the threats was discovered.
"What is problematic is that in Serbia an atmosphere has been created
that gives sick minds the opportunity to spread hatred and cause
anxiety among members of minorities," Perusic said.
He recalled that the latest incident happened after a series of
incidents in Subotica and the surrounding area whose perpetrators have
not been discovered yet.
