ZAGREB, Jan 7 (Hina) - Managers in the bakery industry on Wednesday welcomed the announcement of new Agriculture Minister Petar Cobankovic to put an additional 56,000 tonnes of wheat on the market in order to appease the market after
prices of wheat and flour increased due to the lower wheat yield, which last year was 40 percent lower than in 2002.

Of the 56,000 tonnes, 30,000 was imported tax-free with the approval
of the World Trade Organisation following last year's disastrous
droughts.
