She added that the indictment had to be confirmed by the State Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which was why its details could not be published yet.
The Banja Luka-based Nezavisne Novine daily reported on Thursday that the Department for War Crimes had issued an indictment against 11 persons for war crimes committed in July 1995 in the area of Srebrenica.
Ten indictees have been placed in custody, and one is at large. Most of the indictees were arrested in several separate operations of the Bosnian Serb police in June and July this year. The daily also said that the indictees were accomplices in genocide, the gravest type of war crime.
