ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Friday sent intourgent parliamentary procedure a draft act regulating the division ofCroatian Railways (HZ) into four companies: one in charge of HZmanagement, maintenance and
construction of rail infrastructure, onein charge of passenger transport, a cargo transport company, and arail haulage company.
ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Friday sent into
urgent parliamentary procedure a draft act regulating the division of Croatian
Railways (HZ) into four companies: one in charge of HZ management, maintenance
and construction of rail infrastructure, one in charge of passenger transport,
a cargo transport company, and a rail haulage company. The
government also proposes the founding of an umbrella company owned by the
state.
The Ivo Sanader cabinet also accepted a communications strategy aimed
at informing citizens about the European Union and Croatia's preparations for
membership in the Union.
