Croatia became a full member of the European Union Network for the Implementation and Enforcement of Environmental Law on 1 December 2004, when the IMPEL TFS 2 project for the verification of transfrontier shipments of waste was adopted.
Involved in the project, apart from Croatia, are Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Germany, Ireland, Malta, the Netherlands, and Slovakia. Their inspectors are attending the Zagreb event.
The seminar was organised by the Croatian Ministry of Environmental Protection, Zoning and Construction, with the financial support of the Inspectorate of the Dutch Ministry of Construction, Zoning and Environmental Protection.
