The chambers will cooperate on projects to promote knowledge, skills and the general competitiveness of the engineering profession in each country and in Europe as a whole, Mirko Oreskovic of the Croatian Chamber of Architects and Civil Engineers said in Zagreb on Tuesday.
The three chambers are providing support in creating the platform of the European federation of chambers of engineers to regulate the mutual recognition of qualifications of engineers providing public services.
The platform is based on the European directive on services and should serve as a basis for the preparation of a European register of certified engineers.
