All the necessary measures of supervision and protection are being carried out in cooperation with the state Veterinary Office so as to discover possible bird flu cases and prevent the virus from spreading, he said.
The state government has set up a crisis headquarters against bird flu which is headed by Foreign Trade Minister Dragan Doko.
So far 250,000 euros has been set aside on the state level to deal with possible outbreak areas. The governments of the two entities have been recommended to earmark 750,000 euros for the same purpose each.
