Some 30 reporters, editors and independent producers elected Denis Kuljis, editor of the Croatian edition of "Playboy", president of the association.
The goals of the association are to protect journalists from attacks and pressure, work to change the existing media legislation, and promote the interests of editors and creative journalists.
The founders of the new association expect it to be an alternative to the Croatian Journalists Association.
