ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivo Sanader said in parliament on Wednesday the statement that the government deliberately left the Liburnia Riviera hotel chain out of a list of companies of special state interest to enable the theft of 1.2 billion kuna of state property made no common sense.

The statement was made in parliament by Antun Kapraljevic of the People's Party (HNS).

"The prime minister's answer only confirmed my conviction that after the ownership transformation and privatisation processes, the HDZ (ruling Croatian Democratic Union party) should be proclaimed a criminal organisation and banned from further activity," Kapraljevic said during Question Time.

Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks did not give him a caution, saying it would not be enough and that the biggest caution to Kapraljevic was the the public was listening to him.

"Labelling the party which played a key role in the creation of the Croatian state a criminal organisation is disgraceful to say the least," said Seks.

Deputy Prime Minister Damir Polancec said the task force set up last spring by the government, pensioners' associations and the Pensioners' Party (HSU) would meet on Monday.

Josip Sudec of the HSU recalled the task force was set up to consider issues pertaining to the pension system.

"There's no problem that we couldn't solve together," said Polancec.
