"Marshall Tito" military barracks in central Sarajevo early Sunday morning and
was put out in the course of the morning, police said. The fire
broke out in an abandoned part of the complex around 4 a.m. and was contained
thanks to a rapid response by the city's fire brigade. There were no
casualties.
A part of the land on which the building inside which the fire broke
out is situated, has recently been sold to the US government to build a new
embassy.
