Former Banja Luka judge nominated as Bosnian ambassador to Croatia

ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - Former judge Aleksandar Dragicevic has beennominated as new ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina to Croatia, Bosniannewspapers reported on Thursday.
ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - Former judge Aleksandar Dragicevic has been nominated as new ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina to Croatia, Bosnian newspapers reported on Thursday.

The Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina made the decision on Wednesday but withheld the ambassador's identity until Croatia declared its opinion on the appointment.

According to Nezavisne Novine newspaper, Dragicevic was born in 1960 and holds a degree in law. From 1992 to 1996 he served as a judge of a court in Banja Luka. After that he worked as a police inspector at the Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska and in 1998 he took up office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 2002 he was appointed consul-general to Milan, Italy.
