The Government also entrusted the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship to prepare a bill that would change the law under urgent procedure so that the deadline for ownership transformation and privatisation audits is extended for a longer period of time.
The initial deadline for ownership transformation and privatisation audits was September 1.
Since the government has suggested that the parliament open a debate on the implementation of the parliamentary conclusions of 29 May 2002, adopted in light of a report of the State Audit Office on the performed privatisation audits, it has proven necessary to extend the deadline for the application of the Law on the Ownership Transformation and Privatisation Audit since the parliamentary debate might give rise to repeating some audits.
