ZAGREB, Aug 8 (Hina) - One of three Croatian journalists accused of contempt of the Hague war crimes tribunal, Domagoj Margetic, on Monday collected at Zagreb's County Court the UN court's amended indictment which charges him with revealing the testimony of a protected witness.

Margetic told the press the amended indictment corrected some minor errors in the original indictment and that there were no new charges.

The head of the Zagreb County Court investigating department, Mirjana Rigljan, confirmed to Hina that Margetic collected the indictment but declined to say how it was different from the original one.

She said the new indictment referred to Margetic, ex-editor in chief of Hrvatsko Slovo, as well as to the weekly's director, Stjepan Seselj, who received it through his attorney.

Margetic said the original indictment incorrectly stated some dates and functions he had held in Hrvatsko Slovo and another weekly, Novo Hrvatsko Slovo.

He added the amended indictment also stated that he had continued to publish protected testimonies from the Tihomir Blaskic trial also after he had been cautioned by the Hague tribunal's president not to do so.

Margetic said he did not know what was next in his case, but added he felt the trial would not be referred to Croatia because the tribunal "wants to set a precedent with this".

Alongside Margetic and Seselj, two other Croats have been charged with contempt of court by the Hague tribunal, the editor in chief of Hrvatski List weekly, Ivica Marijacic, and a correspondent of the weekly and former intelligence chief Markica Rebic.

They pleaded not guilty in their first appearance at the tribunal on June 14. Their attorneys requested that the indictments be rejected but the Prosecutor's Office turned down the request.
